Rockpool Ramble ImageWelcome to the Festival Website

Our group was formed in 1997 to promote the outstanding natural beauty of the East Berwickshire coastal area. We began by hosting an annual weekend event each June. We have now adapted our programme to an event most months thoughout the year - see 2007 programme for details.

In its tenth year, our group hosts a wide range of activities suitable for all age groups and abilities. They are designed to appeal not only to the novice naturalist, but also to the experienced birdwatcher, wildlife enthusiast and country rambler, offering a balance of activities between the seashore and inland.

Events are usually held on the last Sunday afternoon of each month. If you have them, bring binoculars when relevant and a hand lens for looking at insects and flowers. You may find it useful to obtain the Ordnance Survey Landranger Map 67 (Duns, Dunbar & Eyemouth) or Explorer Map 346 (Berwick upon Tweed). Refreshments are included in the entry of £3 Adults and £1 children (under 12). Annual membership is also available for £20 single, £30 family e.g. 2 (or 1) adults with or without children, £18 concessions.
